Born in Buenos Aires Susanna Moncayo studied in Rome, Paris, Madrid and Basel. She has performed with the Teatro Colon of Buenos Aires, the Dresden Philharmonic, Sicilian Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonic Orchestra of the Netherlands, Orchestre National de la Loire and under conductors such as Rudel, Pezko, Boulez, Corboz, Ferro, Penin, Fanna , Escher, Mora, Dombrecht and others.
In the field of opera are especially to mention her interpretations i.a. of Carmen (Bizet), Maddalena (Rigoletto, Verdi), Geneviève (Pelléas and Mélisande, Debussy), Messagera (L'Orfeo, Monteverdi), Niklaus (Hoffmann's stories, Offenbach), the high school student (Lulu, Berg), Siébel (Faust, Gounod), Bianca (La Donna del Lago, Rossini), the mother (Mavra, Stravinsky).
She had appearances throughout Europe and North and South America and was among others in Milan's La Scala, Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires, Tonhalle Zurich, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Accademia Santa Cecilia Rome, the Grand Theater Geneva, the Opera in Lille and Nancy, Theatre des Champs Elysees and the Centre Pompidou.
